Don't know much about disco, except disco and inebriation go hand in hand for me. In these times of inebriation, my go-to is the Last Days of Disco soundtrack.

I still like to listen to some disco - I was in my late 20's when the disco craze was going strong. I especially like Donna Summer.

That's what people referred to as their stab at disco. I don't know if there was more.

I didn't live through it so I don't know. I would've liked to experience the blow and scene back then. I read about a few stabs/movements that wanted to demolish disco. I'm not sure why, no one made them listen to it. I was taught how to drive a shift on a golf course while listening to disco. I see no reason why it should be abolished.

There was a massive backlash around 1982, which was a shame, as it has quite a harmless genre.

Even Rod Stewart had a stab at Disco with ‘Do You Think I’m Sexy’.
