You're not shy you get around....Got fire in your veins... Burning hot but you don't feel the pain....Answer. Urgent by Foreigner

**(IF THE SONG IS TOUGH....Give the Decade or a hint)

reply

Only tell me that you still want me here
When you wander off out there
To those hills of dust and hard winds that blow
In that dry white ocean alone
Lost out in the desert
You are lost out in the desert

reply

Well her face is a map of the world
Is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
She's a beautiful girl

reply

I need to quit watching “Devil Wears Prada”….but Streep was so good

I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to this song outside of that movie.

I think it’s named ‘suddenly I see’

Don’t know the artist….

reply

Correct. The artist is KT Tunstall

reply

A desert road from Vegas to nowhere
Some place better than where you've been
A coffee machine that needs some fixing
In a little café just around the bend

reply

I’m curious….this reads familiar.

I’ll use a lifeline- I’ll take any hint you see fit to provide…

reply

I don't have a theme for this set so that won't help. This one has been covered by a bunch of different singers. The original was from a 1987 movie, which doesn't share the name of the song.

Don't know if that helps, but I will accept any of the singers.

reply

Tonight, you arrested my mind
When you came to my defense
With a knife in the shape of your mouth
In the form of your body, with the wrath of a god

reply

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

reply

All right all right all right….

I’m not a complete dinosaur, my total for answers of songs made this century slowly climbs….

Unwritten, Natasha Bedingfield

reply

Correct

reply

If every man says all he can
If every man is true
Do I believe the sky above
Is .......

reply

Damn, another one I think I know but maybe not…

Have you posted this before? Not complaining or anything, but what gets me is I might’ve answered it then and can’t think of it now….

reply

I might have. We've been doing this for a few years now.

I'll give you a hint. It's from the early 90s

reply

Drawing a blank…

When all else fails, Depeche Mode….Maybe Lightfoot, John Denver, Anne Murray, Dicky Doo and and The Don’ts

It’s early, but still: cheers…

reply

Nope. Female "new age" singer.

reply

You tellin’ me Miss Anne can’t be new age? Haha

Well then it’s Enya, thought I still don’t know the song….but I may once you tell me…

reply

Yes, it is Enya. It's Caribbean Blue.

reply

This has happened before….I answer a song, a year or so later it’s posted again and I miss it…ah, first world problems…

Time to go read some more lyric for some bands on have on queue….yes, I’m that boring…..

reply

Haha.

I just realized that I used a theme I've used before, but I think I picked different songs this time.

Even if I didn't I have so many unanswered it really doesn't matter. Hahaha

reply

Yes, I just got your theme…I was gonna answer Sinatra ‘My Way’ but ain’t no ‘night’ in dat…haha

I think it’s Lionel Ritchie….

reply

Yep

reply

I'm the kind of brother
Who been doing it my way, getting my way for years
In my career
And every lover
In and out my life, I've hit, love and left the tears
Without a care

reply

Usher

That's why it hurts so bad to hear the words
That keep on falling from your mouth
Falling from your mouth
