I have a feeling that these are all related to Steve Albini and his passing earlier this week. I knew his name, but really didn't know anything about him at all. I knew he produced "In Utero" by Nirvana, but that's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of him...RIP.

“In Utero” was a very good album, and I like 90% of the songs I post here. ‘Dumb’ is probably my least favorite of this batch. I mean, I get it, the lyrics are somewhat interesting, but it just doesn’t hit for me,
Yeah, Albini….he was something else. His unofficial role in music as an iconoclastic edgelord wasn’t for everybody. The name of some of his own projects (notably, Rapeman) elicits pause for some; throw in his always blunt and often vitriolic assessment of the music industry and you get an unusually compelling figure behind the scenes who produced/engineered some notable but less mainstream artists. And an avid poker player; I think he cashed at a WSOP event. I belive tournament hold ‘em was his preference…
