I watched the Hunchback of Notre Dame a few nights ago. Charles Laughton was great! I hardly recognized him. Sad ending though.

Most of the best already covered but I'll mention Son Of Frankenstein. Karloff's last appearance and the last in the series that was thought provoking before the series descended into camp.

I love the song withering heights by Kate Bush but I've never seen the movie.

The movie and novel it is based on is good. Just avoid the more modern Brit versions where they make Heathcliff black just because.
