why did TBS cancel all its series?
Are they still putting out original content?..
It seems Search Party was the only lucky one to continue (due to being picked up by HBO Max).

If they did, I suspect the virus thing is an issue. Makes it hard to make new content. I could be wrong, but whatever.
shareActually, it happened back in 2017-2019 that they canceled everything (Wrecked, The Detour, The Guest Book, People of Earth), and I don't believe I've seen any new original series come out since.
There was a season two of Miracle Workers this year, but I couldn't get into it.
I am just wondering if TBS is doing away with the whole concept.
I used to watch Wrecked and The Guest Book. My guess is that the cost of production for the shows they dropped had exceeded what they brought in with ad revenue. Low ratings = can't sell ads.
TBS's reruns of the Big Bang Theory regularly has some of the highest cable ratings. Whatever they pay for the right to show it must be worthwhile. With so many channels, it's hard to get people to watch a new show. They can't make them now anyway, with COVID-19.
I kinda like Wrecked (as I’m a WKUK fan and wanted to see Zach in something new) but didn’t like that one dude that kinda acted like a ripoff Zach Galifianakis
shareI'd say The Detour was the best of them all.
I'm guessing they looked at the numbers and decided the NBA and CSI reruns were more profitable.
