As for the Go-Go's being hard party girls, they would have to be pretty full-on to top the girls from Bananarama. Apparently they were notorious on the scene in the early 80s when they used to live in a flat above the Sex Pistols rehearsal room. They used to sing backup for a lot of punk acts like The Jam and Iggy Pop and I've heard it said they often drank their punk counterparts under the table. Don't mess with those British girls!
