Death Proof (2007) is my favorite Quentin Tarantino film.

reply

Most unpopular would be that all the Avengers movies suck:)

reply

Godfather was mediocre.

reply

Did you like II any better, or were you referring to the whole saga?

reply

The Big Lebowski is crap.
Tarantino makes dreadful films.
Kubrick does not deserve legend status.
Apocalypse Now and Deer Hunter suck.

reply

Well out of all the post in this thread yours may be the winner for most unpopular opinion. Lol

reply

lol yeah, I tend not to get excited over the films that so many movie fans get in a lather about.

reply

I like Kube but agree that he does not deserve quite the praise that he gets.

I did like very much Iron Man 2 and 3 I consider them really fun to watch and Robert Downey Jr is always great as IronMan.

I found the mandarin twist clever and funny.

Me too.

That’s nice to read. I’m glad someone else liked those films and I’m not alone in my MCU Craziness. Anyway I want Shane black to do another move for the MCU.

Maybe if Tom Holland does stay for a second trilogy means he gets a 4th movie Shane Black should do it. Actually he should direct a spiderverse film in live action.

that iron man 3 has become one of the hated mcu films is something that completely mystifies me. it has a funny, clever shane black script, and it actually does the thing so many people complain mcu films don't: it develops and deepens the character & has heart. people complain about formulaic mcu films, then wail on the film that does the best job of departing from that formula.

that makes no sense!

and it does all that while still having lots of genuinely exciting action moments. the barrel of monkeys scene? one of the great action moments in the mcu and in blockbuster films of the last 10 years.

it's seriously good.

I think people expected to have more characters from the MCU like Winter Soldier. I think fans wanted something a bit outside of the oridanry but still feeling like an MCU film.

I agree it definitely did something new and was a nice idea Tony battled at the beginning with PTSD and the film showed us Tony can definitely be a hero without the suit.

The film made a great question is IronMan the suit or Is it Tony Stark? Thor at the end of Ragnarock had the same question.
And it was established in both films Ragnarock and IronMan 3 that while their main weapon is big help their weapon is not them.

Another thing for The hate is I think like people probably were expecting a darker film. The film does start quite dark and it gets lighter once he finds his way to operate outside of the suit with The help of Harley. He is the one who helps Tony move on from his panic attack and tells him hey you are a mecanic built something.

I think People were excited to have a dark knight type of film and it wasn’t what we got here

The Scout (1994) is a great baseball movie, even if Albert Brooks himself says it’s awful....

Godfather 2 is really boring
Raging Bull is boring
I like Blade:Trinity
I like Pear Harbor
I like The Punisher
The 80s had about as many great movies as the 70s.
Burt Reynolds did some good movies besides Boogie Nights and Deliverance.

I never liked Harry Potter, fell asleep in the first one. Never made it to all the others. No desire to.
Robert Deniro’s acting is kinda overrated.
Staying Alive does NOT suck!
And I know this is a really random, but most of the movies about people of color do not represent my life in any way whatsoever.
