Some people ignore all the red flags. My brother's ex-wife was constantly threatening him of breaking up WAY before they got married. And me warning him that it wasn't a good idea meant disrespect to him. He didn't even invite me to their marriage because of that.
Now let's go two years later: they have a newborn child and within 6 months... she leaves him. π
So I was right and was treated like shit for it. Some people just don't want to hear good advices if it goes against what they believe in. Love makes people blind.
People aren't responsible. There is money to be made for women by doing this in particular which probably explains their end of it. For the men who do it they are just irresponsible.
If your partner becomes abusive or takes up cooking meth in the kitchen while there's a pregnancy or infant around, then yes. Walking out is not only socially acceptable, it's widely approved.
Walking out because parenthood is more work that you thought it would be is universally despised.
Yeah, well, people break up for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes they only got married because a baby was on the way, and well, if it never would have worked out then a screaming baby isn't going to make things run more smoothly. So yeah, I think that's how a lot of divorces with babies happen.
What can I say, human beings are in general selfish, stupid, and short-sighted, most people are constantly doing irrational things for no gain except for the chance to feel smug for a little while. Which explains a lot about the current pandemic.

I'm aware of that unfortunately. This is how humanity will go straight to its downfall... We need to work together, not against each others by thinking only about ourselves. This is something I always found disgusting with humans. Even your friends and your love partners are there partly (you know little remotely ) there to gain something for themselves.
It just proves marriage is overrated. And that getting to know someone else is not necessary. Salute the "one night stand". As well that kids don't necessarily need both parents to be raised well.
