Once that I recall. It was either Star Wars 2 (Attack of the Clones) or 3 (Revenge of the Sith). Natalie Portman says something really bitchy to Hayden Christensen. I say out loud, not yelling but in a loud voice, "BITCH!" It seemed involuntary...not a conscious decision, it just came out of my mouth.

Padme said something bitchy to Anakin??!!

I try to stay quiet in theaters. I won't even eat noisy food after the trailers. A few times I have had an involuntary exclamation.

1. Star Wars, The Last Jedi: When Leia flies through space, a loud "WHAT??" escaped my lips.
2. The Dark Knight Rises: When Batman lights a fire on the thin ice his friends are on, a long pent up groan of "Oh c'mon!" found some air.
3. Tank Girl: When she is at gun point and distracts her captor via hypnotic rubber shark to get behind him and take his gun, I shouted "NO!" That was one of the very few movies I walked out of before it was over.

I booed out loud during the first 5 minutes of Dark Fate.

reply

I tend to snigger rather than yell.

I'm decent enough to keep my dissatisfaction quiet. So by the end of "The Rise of Skywalker" I had my hand over my mouth and was shaking with repressed laughter so hard that the other people in the row were probably wondering if there was a mild earthquake.

reply

i just shake my head.

reply

No but I felt asleep a couple of times

reply

Happened to me when I went to see Rogue One in the theatre.

reply

Uh, do you mean yelling, "This sucks!" while watching Deep Throat?

reply

😁excellent example.

reply

I've fallen asleep, walked out, and ultimately quit going in 2013. Will probably never go again.
