Ty sir. Hosting is rough if you can’t find clues.

I think I used "black actor in cast" in one of my first. (They were laughing at me.) But I didn't know all the things you can use.

For Alien (1979) instead of Color, you could have used Genre includes Sci-Fi. (We might have got it sooner.)

Alien Nation (1988) actually has a higher US Box office than Letters from Iwo Jima (2006). I used box office one time, when I couldn't think of anything else, to lower the amounts being guessed.

reply

I thought sci fi would give it way to early. I did think about it though.

reply

It inspired a TV series by the same name.

reply

Yup yup good job btw 😁

reply

No offense but I'm getting a bit bored with super foreign or really old timer movies:)

reply

On my next host ill do romcom just for you 😁

reply

Thank you for picking a really fun movie. Loved it. The series was just as good..

reply

me too...loved both as a kid.

reply

Lets agree to pick super silly movies just to piss off the snobs here:)

reply

Who are the snobs here?

reply

No.... not snobs but I have a list of all the movies you've played...You're a 7 rater. Anything below that you think is too low. You wouldn't even think of playing a fun movie in the low 6s...

reply

I'm pretty sure a lot of the movies I've recommended were in the 6s. The one I recommended yesterday was a 6er.

So I guess I'm one of the people who supposedly doesn't like silly movies? I've recommended a bunch of comedies in my threads. Off the top of my head I can recall recommending Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), Tampopo (1985), and Andaz Apna Apna (1994). All three are funny, lighthearted movies, and the third one in particular is nothing if not silly. I'm sure I've recommended other comedies too that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Edit: Just looked through the list I keep which prevents me from recommending the same movie twice. Other funny movies I've recommended include Secondhand Lions (2003), Kikujiro (1999), Tokyo Chorus (1931), Warm Water Under a Red Bridge (2001), Tokyo Godfathers (2003), Shall We Dance? (1996), Laila's Birthday (2008), and Perrier's Bounty (2009).

Lolol deal!
