The Last Starfighter (1984) - If you ever put coins in a video game and tried to beat the high score, this one is for you. It's better if you do NOT read a brief summary of the film, and don't know what will happen. Dan O' Herlihy and Robert Preston are scene stealers. Some theaters had 70MM prints.

it's not bad. it shows up on tcm quite often. it's a cold war conspiracy movie. good cast with walter matthau and george kennedy.

Dolores Claiborne, one of the best movies of the 90s and somehow Kathy Bates was not nominated for an Oscar.
