Premonition
In The Tall Grass

Any more?

I still have no clue what the hell was going on in this movie, I just spent an hour and a half thinking Melissa George is super hot

reply

You think too hard and you ruin a perfectly good movie in my opinion.

reply

Well that's very good advice but in this case I was just all 'WTH!?!'

Anyway, I just focused on Melissa in her skimpy outfit

reply

Yeah she's alright, got some talent but she can't act.

reply

I didn't even notice her acting😬

reply

Hey man you win. But we both have limited vision. Yay.

Re:Zero
Sakurada Reset
Puella Magi Magica Madoka
The Tatami Galaxy

Anime plays with the concept in quite creative ways. A couple of examples. In Re:Zero, for example, the main character repeats the time loop every time he dies, but he can "save" a point, so the time loop slowly advances. In Sakurada Reset, one character can go back in time, but he won't remember the previous time loop, while other character is the one that can remember past time loops.

There's got to be more..

This immediately came to mind when I read the topic because I saw it recently. I thought it was an interesting perspective and saw it more as being about trying to manipulate the future as opposed to someone caught in a loop.

reply

i think it counts (from wiki)

Time Lapse is a 2014 American indie sci-fi thriller directed by Bradley D. King and starring Danielle Panabaker, Matt O'Leary, and George Finn. King's directorial debut, it centers upon a group of friends who discover a machine that can take pictures of things 24 hours into the future, causing increasingly complex causal loops.[1] It premiered on April 18, 2014 at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.

reply

Fair enough. Like I said, it immediately came to mind and I considered submitting it when I saw you had already done so.

reply

Time loop and causal loop are different concepts.
