Yes. He's a great actor when he wants to be and he's entertaining even when he doesn't care.

There's really two phases to him. Pre 2003 and post 2003.

yes. compare the over the top stuff he's now notorious for w/ a later role in, say, 'the humanity bureau'

he has a tremendous range.

he's penalized for being experimental.
