What if they start calling more than once and again not leaving voicemails? Would you return the call or ignore?
I personally ignore. How do I know it's not a spam caller? I've been getting alot of those.

I haven't gotten nuisance calls lately, but I remember a couple of years ago, I got what seemed to be a residential number, and a little further research and IIRC it could be several things, such as scammers able to display someone's number on your phone.
No, those spam calls somehow hijack normal looking numbers similar to your own phone number to fool people into answering. Sometimes when I’m bored, I answer in my best old confused man voice (I do a really good one!) just to mess with them and keep having them repeat themselves or things like that. And if they ever stay on the line long enough without giving up in frustration, and it gets to the point where they are asking for addresses or credit card numbers, I just start slowly saying a super long string of numbers until they finally realize what’s going on and hang up.
