You know when you look at posts and they're from 9 years ago? Is that from IMDb? I only found this site after they closed message boards. Does the OP get your message or it just gets posted on the board ???

Yes, older posts are from IMDb, so no message goes to the original poster. Any poster with a number in parentheses after their name is a MC poster.

Yes, they were imported from IMDb.

No, if there is no number in parenthesis right next to the username, then it's not a MovieChat member so he/she won't get notified.

But other people can still read your reply so maybe somebody would respond to yours.
