If you were rich, would you be friends with your housekeeping staff?

Or would it make awkward because you're meant to help your friends out and they might one day ask for money?

Good point. Friends means that you would hang out outside work. How many people go to a concert or go to the beach or go on a vacation with their housekeeping staff?

Sure. And because we're on friendly terms, I would instruct security to use only minimal force if they make eye contact with me.

The guy that does our garden runs his own business and has been a friend of mine for over 20 years.
The guy that runs the building firm that does all our projects has been a friend of mine for over 20 years.
The odd job guy has been a friend of mine for over 10 years.
We are very friendly to our cleaners, but they are not our friends.

I wouldnt be having a house big enough to require staff , no matter how rich i was.

I know a guy who’s a multi-millionaire, he lives on a 50 acre piece of land in New Mexico in a an RV.

I don't think I would hire any.

My plans are be one of those guys whose net worth is in the millions but still rents a one room apartment with little upkeep.

Don't remember the rappers name (Jay Z?) great quote "Mo money, mo problems"

I would be friendly but if we clicked as friends I would be friends..
I would pay them well but wouldn't mind them asking for help.

Isn't one of the perks of being rich being able to help out your friends and family?
It would make me happy to be able to help.
