What were the best TV commericals from 2010-2020?
Sadly, Geico probably takes most of the spots. The “Jake from State Farm” commercial was discussed relentlessly back when it aired.
The most prevalent ads (ads that are televised nationally) seem to be for cars and for insurance companies. I think Flo from Progressive is a bit of an icon. Lincoln and Matthew McConaughey are getting there.
When I was a kid it was Mr Whipple for Charmin (I guess he'd be very popular in Australia right now), Madge for Palmolive dishwashing liquid, and the lonely Maytag repairman. Animated icons would include Cap'n Crunch, the Trix Rabbit, and the Lucky Charms Leprechaun.
