Psychokinesis in Technology

Get this a race of 'other beings' so advanced that they are able to use "psychokinesis" in technology - ie. operate a computer device with your mind and not use keys yet be completely seperate from the computer, no chips that die in two seconds once inserted into the mind, no power chord to the mind, your actual authentic mind controlling a computer with zero contact - i like to call it "technology psychokinesis".

They call people like that "technopaths," who can manipulate technology with their minds. This idea was touched upon in the movie "Sky High." The Queen Bee of the school was a technopath.

This would be a good Baker's Dozen topic.

reply

and those that study those technopathologists - strikes me as intriguing

reply

i dunno though, like does a human really need a label wouldn't they just be people with the ABILITY to do Technology Psychokinesis

reply

That already exists. Early prototypes, but it's not sci-fi.
