Why are we just supposed to accept words that someone else decided the definition for? Can I not simply disagree without being called a "wordphobe"?

You don't have to accept those words, but you should at least provide a valid alternative.

Replace the word "wise" with "legendary".

In Australia we apply our own meanings to words all the time.

"Cunt" can refer to your best friend or someone you want to kill.

A man with red hair is called Bluey.

We also have a tendency to say "Yeah, nah" which tends to mean "I understand what you are saying/offering but I disagree/do not wish to partake".

I'd say we don't a give a fuck but then that would depend on what you look like.
