Best murder mystery movies. ?

Guys, which murder movies do like the most, I’m looking specifically to films which are extremely similar to Murder on the orient express and knives out.

So please not suggestions like the girl with the dragon tattoo, while it’s really good it’s not the style I’m looking for, I want one of those films which make me feel like I’m playing Clue.

I would recommend the TV Series ' Poirot ' (1989-2013) also of course based on the novels of Agatha Christie as was ' Murder on the Orient Express '. Particularly the following episodes:

Peril at End House - Season 2 Episode 1
The Mysterious Affair at Styles - Season 3 Episode 1
One Two Buckle My Shoe - Season 4 Episode 3
The Yellow Iris - Season 5 Episode 3
All episodes of seasons 6 through to 13 except for ' The Big Four ' S13E02

Also the TV Mini-Series based on Agatha Christie novels:

And Then There Were None (2015)
Crooked House (2017)
Ordeal By Innocence (2018)

I’m definitely will look for those because they are based on Agatha Christie books.

If you do and like them you could also look up the ' Miss Marple ' TV Series that are based on Agatha Christie books as well. Same sort of detective stories with a female detective.

Gosford Park (2001)

clue (1985)
ready or not (2019)
murder mystery (2019)

not the best but it is what you're looking for

reply

You want a movie with a twist or where it’s obvious the whole time

reply

I wouldn’t mind that the murderer is obvious or the twist surprises me

I just know I’m not looking exactly for aN action oriented or like very thrilleresque film.

I want good dialogue and a good ensamble cast and play clue while watching the movie.
I want them almost identical to These two I mentioned : knives out and Murder on the orient express.

I don’t want dark edgy movie I want it sort of fun and clever.
So I’m not interested in gone by gone with Casey afleck, I know it’s considered one of the best murder mysteries but again not my interest right now.

Been a long time since I've seen it but I think the movie Ten Little Indians will be up your alley.

It's the same story as ' And Then There Were None '. The story has had a few name changes as political correctness has progressively caught up with it. When Agatha Christie published the novel back in 1939 it was called ' Ten Little Ni**ers '. This was changed to ' Ten Little Indians ' and then when even that was regarded as being offensive it was changed to ' And Then There Were None '.

This is hard to answer, because the most popular whodunit films' plot twists are really well known.

Still, there's Death on the Nile if you haven't seen it.
The Bone Collector is also really good.
Been a while, but I recall the 2015 And Then There Were None mini-series being good.
Also, maybe The Gift (200)?
