"Grandma got Ran Over by a Reindeer" is considered a worst Christmas song. This year officially marks its 40th anniversary.

I forgot about that one, intentionally. Truly terrible

They played it on the radio this afternoon. Great song, better than the top 40 crap they normally play!

Yes. I absolutely HATE this song and cringe whenever I hear it. It sounds so ridiculously dated, even for its time. I remember learning for the first time that it came out in 1979. I was, like, "Whaaaaaat???" (I was thinking, 1972, 1973.) That song is a perfect example of how, out of all The Beatles, Paul McCartney didn't grow as an artist.

I'm a huge fan of electroswing and was about to call you out for obviously not being one, but then I gave the song a good listen and yeah...it's not that good.

I strongly dislike that McCartney song

The other one is new to me, but pretty lousy too

Funny you should ask! I just now told my husband when it was used for a current tv ad, “I hate that song!” I detest it...can’t mute fast enough! “Santa Baby”

All of them.

I'm sick of all of the mainstream ones:

I know there memorable and catchy and some are well made to be fair, but do we really have to spend every Christmas repeating the same old song's?

Can't we have some new ones and maybe a lot less of the old ones?
