I've spoken to her about this before. We both agreed that IMDb had an issue with this also. Look at the vote breakdowns for each movie and you'll notice that there are significantly more males voting.

Well so far I count 10 males to 8 females...not really that one-sided

I think it's the assumption that it's overwhelmingly men here. I've always felt that way at least.

It seems to be about half and half, which is good. I wouldn't be surprised if some boards skew heavily one way or the other, though.

I just looked and Cuthbert posted yesterday. Saw the thread where you two were rumbling, yikes. He didn't sound like his usual self in that thread. I've always liked him and never found him to be rude. Could be discussing politics is bringing him down, or he could be having some problem in his life that's stressing him out. It's easy to feel like rumbling when you're all stressed out. It is for me anyway ππ

Yes we have, in the other thread. It's true, the voters on IMDb were overwhelmingly male. I noticed the same on most boards. There were a few exceptions where the majority of posters were female.
