Have you ever had someone try to recruit you into a pyramid scheme?
And all you can think about is how big of an idiot they are

shareThe only one I can recall coming up against is Amway, which I had only vaguely heard of at the time, 35 years ago. Of course they argue that it is not a pyramid even though it acts like one. One can look up on the internet the difference between multi-level-marketing (MLM) and a pyramid scheme. But most people (almost all) who join a legal MLM never make money either, or may even lose money. Of course I was completely uninterested.
shareYeah as I understand it there is little distinction between MLM and pyramids
shareNo, but I had a guy try to proposition me once in high school.

No thanks
Yes, but I'm not the cheerleader type
shareNo. I would never do sales and pyramid schemes are a ripoff
shareAmway, if that counts.
sharePut me in the "propositioned by Amway" club; circa 1993. No thanks.
shareI was strongly encouraged by guidance counselors and parents to go to college.
