You're home alone at night...

...you've put your phone down somewhere but you can't remember where that was. After looking around for some time without finding it, you decide to use the home mobile to ring it and find out where it is. You dial the number on the mobile and then hear your phone ringing in another room for a few seconds before abruptly stopping on the second ring. You put the home mobile to your ear and hear heavy breathing on the other end...

I came up with that scary story myself.

A good update of a well known urban legend.

The one about the babysitter who keeps getting creepy phone calls?

reply

That's the one.

That’s the exact plot of “When A Stranger Calls” films from 1979, 1993 and 2006.

Guess this could be the 2019 version for the mobile era. The Find A Phone locator app could also be used. Where the babysitter is using the app on a computer to see where she left her phone. Then she notices the phone is moving around, and keeps popping up in different rooms throughout the house. Then she sees the signal getting c l o s e r, c l o s e r .... CLOSER!!!!!! Ahhhhh

Fantastic!

reply

Oh I thought it was really happening.

This story is great!
Let's cast Eliza Dushku as the babe that can't find her phone, Clancy Brown can be the creepy stalker and we will need a cat for the jump scares...I hear Garfield is looking for work but he's a bit of a pain in the ass on set

This story is going to be a real thriller!!

Sounds kinda boring...like Goodfellas...

reply

I'm sorry for ruffling your feathers.

reply

I'd suspect the dog is playing games.

+1

reply

I have no idea why, but I read that as the dingo is playing games....smh

reply

Dog, dingo. They're related so it does kind of make sense, depending on where you live.

reply

Lol. I'm in Canada and I've never seen a dingo in person. Lol. I guess my brain is just playing tricks on me. :)

reply

That is a bit of a stretch, but hey, the mind plays games, right?

reply

"What's your favorite scary movie?"

reply

realistically, it might be my pet making that noise

reply

The pet answered the phone?

reply

It doesn't take much to answer a phone these days. Press any key...
