If you could time travel for one day, where and when?

This is not the form of time travel where you wake up in your younger body. It will be you, as you are now, in the past, or future.

You get to walk around for one day, see what you want to see. You must not attempt to change history!

So, name your date, and name your location. Your travels will be confined within one city or two.

I would time travel back to September 11, 2001, to confirm to people that there really were planes that flew into the WTC that day.

I'd probably go somewhere that wasn't a big part of History. Probably just some small town somewhere on Earth in the past and just watch a day in the lives of its inhabitants. I wouldn't want to really see anything historical because if it was different than the history books say, nobody would believe me when I got back. Hopefully I can just be invisible and watch a quiet day in a European village, 250 years ago or something.
