i've seen very few hoffman films. funny, in that i like to imagine i've seen a lot of movies, yet when i wandered through his filmography, i see that i've seen a total of 4.

midnight cowboy
i haven't seen midnight cowboy in years, & would like to visit it again. straw dogs i loved. meyerowitz stories was terrific. i expected to like marathon man - just watched it last week - but actually found it a bit dreary, and found hoffman a bit melodramatic & grating at times. maybe that was just me.
