Should there be more sex in movies?

Nudity and sex used to be thrown into movies all the time in the 80s to spice it up. European movies still do this.

American movies, despite being rated R, generally cut away when people start to have sex. What do you think, if they can put it in, should they?

I think it's boring and cliched.

I can't stand shows on TV like Game of Thrones where each show has to have girls with their breasts out. It's always breasts and nothing else.

Sometimes shows with displays penises but never female genitals, which makes no sense. It's like females genitals are more "erotic" than a penis.

Whatever the case, I hate it all.

It's particularly weird since you can find endless porn on the internet featuring any kind of sex you can imagine. So, tuning in to some show or movie that has "breasts" feels childish to me. The filmmakers are childish as well. Do they really believe they're doing something shocking/edgy/sexy showing breasts?

I'm happy there's less sex in films.

I don't know why, but I get a little uncomfortable when I see shows where people are about to get it on. I just saw a TV show where the woman pulls the guy's belt off while they are making out, and for some reason, I didn't like it. Last Tango would be a different case. As others say, it's an inherent aspect of the movie, (and yes, it still might make me feel uncomfortable). I do believe it to be gratuitous and distracting, the story can be told without us seeing the physical act. Plus, what can we learn by watching people have sex? No clever dialog, no stunning action. Certain people might find it fascinating, but I don't.
I don't have a problem with actual pornography. Then I know where it's heading.
