Currently living icon that is gonna affect you the most when he/she eventually passes away
Probably Michael J Fox for me.
shareProbably Michael J Fox for me.
shareGrover or Corey Feldman
shareDario Argento, who is currently 78. I even google him every few days to check that he is still alive.
shareWorst thing is when you are falsely informed about the death a famous person that you really look up to, for some reason people like lying about this sort of stuff, it can make you appreciate them a little extra though when you find out they are indeeed alive.
shareMort Sahl, but I hope he'll outlive me.
shareI think perhaps Betty White. She is the same age as my grandmother and although it is going to be soon, I think it will be pretty sad for me.
However much their death affects me it's not going to be anywhere near as bad as discovering they're a child molester/serial rapist.
shareSadly there is a truth to this.
shareThe thing is, we all die, and sure I'll be super-sad when Michael J. Fox dies (I hope it isn't for a very long while), but that's just life. People die. On the positive side of things, by all accounts he seems to be a decent and well-liked guy without any whiff of controversy or darkness. So, I'd be much more disturbed and distressed if something dodgy came out about him than I would by the eventual news of his death, as sad as the latter will inevitably be.
shareIt's not unusual for the nicest people to have the most shocking skeletons, so who really knows. It would shatter me for sure, but if he really did something i hope he has to face the consequences of course. Same goes for everyone. It's more important than retaining some sort of false image of them just because we don't want to believe it to be true.
