I haven't seen very many of these, I'm going to try to watch more of the classics!

How many of the 20 have you seen?

reply

I've seen nine of these films. I would also add:

Some Like It Hot
Vertigo
Godzilla
Sweet bird of Youth
The Godfather
Battleship Potemkin
Shane
The Magnificent Seven
Gone With The Wind

reply

Start with Casablanca.

I have seen 10.

reply

I've seen 19 of them. Th only one I haven't seen is Grand Illusion.

reply

You'll have to watch that one so you can say you've seen all 20. 🙂

La Grande illusion (Grand Illusion) (1938) has a respectable 8.1/10 rating on IMDb and from what I'm reading about it, it's a historically-significant movie.

reply

I want to watch it, but haven't gotten a chance to yet.

reply

you'll love it.

reply

Vertigo is not there.

reply
