Steven Spielberg: hmmmph. i'll park my vote with close encounters, even though i don't really love that movie. i've never seen jaws, and that's the only film of his i can really see myself really liking.

David Fincher: The Social Network, though i've seen zodiac more times...toss up between those two for me.

That's okay. Answer my question as you feel free. I was just stating why I hadn't cited Empire, even though I marginally prefer it to A New Hope.
