What are you doing for the environment

I use public transport, I buy local produce and I don't have children.

reply

Recycle and compost as much as I can do. Don't drive much, also buy local produce, and no kids either.

I'm not a big consumer, try to take good care of the things I have so there's less waste. I also think carefully before buying things. Do I really need or want that thing? If it'll improve my life in some way, including bringing me joy, then it's a go. Otherwise, pass.

There are so many things we can all do, just a couple of them:

-Recycling as much as possible.

- To reduce meat consumption.

-To reduce the use of plastic (very difficult to do it due to the fact that almost everything what you buy is packed in plastic).

- Not to buy articles of furniture from tropical countries.

- To swicht the lights off when you do not need it.

- To use public transport.

- To keep clean your street/ property, the beach, your enviromment.

This looks like brainwashing. Like asking for free health care before we have free food and housing. Rich people did this to you. There's not going to be any rainforest left unless you buy a composting toilet.

reply

Brainwashing?? Why do you think so?

I don't have children
I don't have an iphone

reply

I too dont have children.
Also nearly everything i own is "recycled" ie stuff people were throwing out.
I repair stuff , rather than landfill it and buy new stuff.

Therefore when, once in a blue moon, i go to the refuse dump / recycle centre with stuff or bits that are beyond saving, theres so much of such a variety , they think i am a commercial business and refuse to let me dump it.
Which pisses me off.
