I'm not a gun guy - I wouldn't know a Walther PPK from a "Magnum P.I." (nod to Clark Griswold.) I read a few of the books back in the day and I remember it was a "Walther something" because he mentioned it repeatedly (kind of like Tom Clancy's books.)
I saw a website about James Bond guns and the correct answer might be a Walther PP or some Bereitta.
