Actors Who Seem To Play Themselves on the Screen
someone told me Jack Nicholson, and I thought that was a good example.
sharesomeone told me Jack Nicholson, and I thought that was a good example.
shareMaybe not 100% of the time, but Al Pacino and Robert de Niro seem to act like themselves a lot.
Also, I don't know these guys personally so lol, they may not be acting like themselves at all, consistently. 😉
Yeah, I'd say they've played a LOT of the same role. Even the non-gangster role seems to have the same bravado. Pacino did some unique movies in the 70s, playing a junkie, godfather, cop, bank robber, race car driver, lawyer; but with more vulnerability and more nuanced.
As bad as it could be, I'd love to see De Niro again in "Taxi Driver 2: End of Uber"

Al Pacino.
shareI'm shocked that no one has mentioned Clooney. He was actually believeable in movies like Michael Clayton and The American. But don't tell he has changed enough to be in a batsuit again.
shareI watched a Jack Nicholson interview after this and yes, he does speak the same. He seems like he's acting all the time, amazing.
I'll add Michael Cain. He doesn't vary his voice or delivery.
Sean Connery after 1990 or so
