Boo ! You mentioned The Philadelphia Story before I did. :-) It's a fun movie, but it's quite complicated if you think about it.
SPOILER !! One woman is divorced, and the guy she's divorced from (after he shoved her in the face) is hanging around interfering with her high society nuptials. Everyone in the family seems to like the first guy more than the newer one. Then a reporter and his comely female photographer (?) infiltrate the wedding party, and there seems to be chemistry between he and the bride-to-be. But it's all a misunderstanding, and the reporter seems to have not regarded his gal pal in the proper light. Then the first husband steps in to re-marry the bride. That's a lot to think about. Fortunately, the movie is light and breezy so we don't have to.
