If you could live anywhere...

...in the world, where do you think you'd like to live? Money is no object.

I think I'd like to live in New Zealand. From pictures I've seen it, it looks like a pretty country. Second choice might be Ireland.

reply

Both seem like beautiful countries but I couldn't live anywhere but the US

North Carolina is awesome...the temperature is pretty reasonable, the countryside is beautiful and the people are quite sweet

reply

Doesn't it get hot and steamy there? At my age, I can't deal with humidity.

reply

I was down there in the mountains a few times growing up in summer time
It was gorgeous weather and during summer too!

Ferns, Hemlock trees, little towns to explore and wildlife to see
The locals were sweethearts
Maybe I was up in the hills but overall the humidity was not terrible

reply

I'm not a mountain person. They're scenic and nice to look at, but I'd feel claustrophobic in the mountains. I need wide open spaces. I'm a prairie girl at heart.

reply

I agree with you on the mountains, but I need to be close to the sea or at least a big ass river!

reply

Santa Barbara CA

reply

Nice choice. But...earthquakes. Oh well.

reply

I'd prefer to stay in Europe. I love Berlin. Paris is also nice without the tourists. I never expected Switzerland to be so nice!

Living in a castle like Neuschwanstein would be fantastic!

reply

I suspect many places are nicer without tourists - too many of them have no respect for those who live there. Neuschwanstein Castle looks wonderful! Gorgeous views!

In the condominium inside Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Walt Disney World. What a fantastic neighborhood for raising children.

reply

Lol, I woud love to live in Disney World!😆

reply

Not many people know about that castle condo, but it’s there. Disney rents it out for a fortune. My wish, in answer to this topic, is to have it for my permanent home, and raise a family. “Where do you live?” “In Sleeping Beauty’s castle in the center of The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. You?”

Speaking of castles, did you know that Salvador Dali and his wife lived in separate homes? He gave her a castle with a drawbridge and a moat. When she wanted his company, she would lower the drawbridge! I thought that was so romantic.

reply

That's cute!😆

If I had the money, I would definitely stay there during my visit.

reply

Now that's something different. I'm not sure if I'd pick Disneyland or Disney World...

reply

I want to move to the Peruvian forest so I can do as much ayahuasca as necessary to heal my damaged soul.

reply

I had to look up ayahuasca as I've never heard of it before. I learned something new today!

reply

If money was no object I'd live in a beautiful apartment in New York

reply

Texas

reply

Can I ask, what is it about New York that interests you? You're in Australia, aren't you?

reply

I'm an Aussie that's never been to the big Apple. I've seen it many times in films etc. It's a beautiful looking city with so much going on. You'd never get bored. I love the Brooklyn accent too.

It also has the most spectacular art deco architecture I've ever seen.

reply

Paris.

I like to watch young good looking people making out in public.

reply

Hmm. 🤔 Interesting.

reply

new zealand

reply

👍 Ever been there?

reply

No I haven't. Moderate weather there.

reply

I've wanted to visit ever since the Lord of the Rings movies were released. Beautiful country.

Nothing wrong with staying in a place you know and are comfortable in.

reply

I was in the Navy and seen many places. Even if money was no object I would pick America. Specifically Florida. About 30 minutes from the ocean.
