Did you not see those jack-asses after the election? Ashley wanting to blow up the White House! If you had said that you would have had a knock on the door by the Secret Service. Well, I'm not American. I didn't vote but I visited many pre-election forums and read a ton of comments. Trump supporters (at least the majority of them) are obnoxious, rude, ill-bred, racists, sexists......just like their IDOL. You blame Whoopi, Madonna and Ashley but Trump lovers can't stand the opposite opinion and always start insulting people for that. Hypocrisy is overflowing in your reply
No hypocrisy here. Did I write I was a Trump lover? He’s as nasty mouthed as the ones I previously wrote about. Most of us Trump voters are *not* obnoxious, ill-bred, racists, (btw the word should be bigoted), sexists and do not have him as an idol. In fact I mute the tv when he’s talking. But, you see, I looked past him when I voted. Figuratively...I held my nose.
I voted for the issues hoping a businessman would do better. And we are doing better economically, unemployment is the lowest in years, people who gave up looking for work are back working, workers aren’t fearful to leave a job to go to another. He’s nominating judges I hope will not legislate from the bench. He’s for border security, but realizes we need *legal* immigration, not folks who jump in line to cross illegally in front of others who are waiting patiently to enter legally. I don’t know where you live, but we had 9/11. Read about it again. We lost about 3,000 people on that day due to terrorists.
One final thought...I would bet my life he wouldn’t release 5 terrorists (who are back in the field doing what they do best) for one cowardly army deserter who caused others to die looking for him!

You're right. The words "epic" and "phenomenal" are overrated and overused these days but when it comes to Madonna - that's true. She's by far the most iconic and popular female singer in the world. She's nowhere near the best singer/vocalist but her music changed history like Michael Jackson or Elvis

Jackson's side-stepping and while glove -pivots didn't necessarily take this super-intelligence or rare-physical skill, in my opinion (and a little birdy tells me much less what have been made of him if he was white) I could say that Judy Garland's music changed history and was the most iconic (though I won't, and can't). So, changed history means what, they we never saw such a performer like him/her before?
Too much is made of people because they achieved fame. There are few anomalies in the world, and Madonna isn't one of them. Madonna sold more records than the majority of singers because she had some very catchy-records, but that isn't quite the same.
OK, I don't try to justify her fame or big sales. She doesn't even have a strong voice but I really think her music is very iconic. She took risks during her career all the time. Many people hate her because she is a strong woman who controls everything around her. That was a "crime" back in the 80's and 90's. Her music is quite versatile and intriguing for a pop star. I saw her singing house, jazz, orchestral music, country, rock, r&b.... I see her influence almost in every modern pop singer. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I love her music but I do think she is super-iconic

I don't see being an independent self-confident women being synonymous with being hated. You mean the sexual overtones that some may have disliked? I was there in the 70's, 80's.. and being a controlling strong woman really wasn't that new in the performing world.(it's not like Madonna didn't have some help in the beginning). I give Madonna much credit for trekking to NYC with a few hundred bucks based on pure audacity. She was brave.
