When did you first learn that the world is round?

I admit I only learned it from school and the books I read back when I was about 6 or 7 years of age in the early 1990s. I was never clever enough to prove the world was round using my own intuition....

The earth is not round. It’s an oblate spheroid.

Yes, I know. I just wanted to use a similar "layman's term" to make it easier for people to understand.

I always just knew from having globes and seeing globes on TV and stuff. My dad was a geography teacher, too, so that helped.
