Do you eat turkey for thanksgiving?

Really don't care for the bird...PRIME RIB! It's a Feet Family Treat๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

reply

No I find it too dry. We usually have chicken.

reply

No, but I enjoy stuffing/dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy.

reply

Love all the fixings... just not the bird๐Ÿ‘

reply

Pretty much. Although, I'm not very partial to cooked carrots. Pickled beets are delicious, though.

reply

Pickled bets are actually not bad๐Ÿ‘

reply

of course i eat, turkey, for thanksgiving.

just not turkey.

love the green beans/flied onions, mashedGravy, dressing, rolls, pumpkin pie w/ reddiWhip & coffee, w/ cream & yellow.

reply

Three times a year - Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We also have Thanksgiving in October when it was meant to be (during the harvest).

reply

It works fine for me. There's always other things like gravy and cranberries to doctor it up. I've never paid for a bird but it seems a full turkey yields a lot of food, so it's economical to feed a bunch of people, (I'm guessing). And a couple of leftover sandwiches is nice too, a little mayo and some cran if you still have any. For me, food isn't sacred, it's fuel, and Thanksgiving is Turkey Day, so I go with the flow.

reply

No, at Christmas.

reply

I like ham for Christmas๐Ÿ‘

reply

That too. We have two Christmas days, so it's possible to have both.

reply

๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿฆƒ๐Ÿ‘

reply

So ham on both days???๐Ÿ–

reply

Sure๐Ÿ‘ maybe lamb...or beef...shellfish? Anything but turkey๐Ÿ˜‚

reply

Which two days ??

reply

I'm not sure, I need to check my calendar...

reply

That was a serious question.

reply

Well, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas. It seemed obvious to me, to be honest.

reply

I read somewhere that Dec 5th was an important day. Maybe I was wrong. Also the Americans don't celebrate Dec 26. We do in Canada, it's called Boxing Day or as I call it Binge Watching Day.

reply

Yes, it's important, but it's not a Christmas Day. Christmas doesn't start until Christmas Eve.

reply

Thank you. It was just a simple question.

reply

Sometimes the internet isn't as simple as it seems!

reply

I guess ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
