Insurance paying for sex-change!? This TG-man looks more hunky than most men:

This is the most extreme visual I have seen of a TG man (from female) with his thick arms, chest, etc. , complete with tattoos.

But, sorry, Insurance paying for this elective surgery (yes, elective) seems unfair, even though the Medical Assc, has concluded it's a real pathology. That's just it: WHERE does the pathology lie: the TG being a real entity, or the person only brainwashing themselves into believing it when it could be a symptom of psychosis. There is no real test, except the the spoken word of the Tg in question. With homosexuality, the test is who stimulates you (sex)

Ironically, another Massachusetts TG (male to female) had insurance pay--but he was in prison for life (murder).

Hi Morlock and whatever other IDs you use here.

reply

No other I'D.'s. Have no opinion on the topic? it's your tax money.

reply

Not my tax money.

reply

Your insurance premiums, even worse.

reply

I voted Yes on 3 in Massachusetts because I support the Transgender Community, however, I do not support the state paying for a prisoners elected sex change.

reply

Convicts should not be in pain or left to deal with health issues, but this was over the top. I think he was a murderer.
I'm originally from Massachusetts, a very liberal state, despite it's traditional-image (the only state that Gov George McGovern won in the Presidential election back when)

reply

Yeah, that's uber ridiculous.

reply

But, how do really know it's not psychosis? And if it is psychosis, it still is worth doing to ease the pain?
The difference between this and other things, is that we have no concrete basis.. Is their word of being born in the "wrong" body enough? With OCD, for example, you can validate the symptoms by the sufferer's actions and dysfunction.

reply

I don't know.

reply

well, thats basic.

reply

What how would I supposed to know?

reply

You dont' have to be an expert and know the unknown, but just your opinion/insight.

reply

Stop patting yourself on the back. You're not supporting the transgender community. You haven't lifted a finger. You're forcing us to support the medical cartel. Insurance makes things more expensive. If you wanted to support the transgender community, nobody is stopping you from making a donation, although it seems queer they cannot support themselves like everybody else.

reply

So voting to protect transgender bathroom rights is not lifting a finger? Listen, I'm not a crusader, but I will speak up for whats right. And no, I don't need to make a donation to prove what I believe in.

reply

Transgender must be considered mental disorder or else it is cosmetic and insurance can't cover it. Insurance doesn't even cover laser eye surgery! You know how much money that would save?

Socialism forces us to make these classifications of things. Otherwise people would be able choose to buy different insurance policies and most people would not pay extra to insure against the need for a sex change since that is a zero percent risk. Nobody buys hurricane insurance if they don't live on the beach. You either want it or you don't. This is why FEMA is a bad idea, socialism for rich people. It would end up being very expensive for them without it. So what they are doing is spreading/socializing the cost across all society to make it cheaper for them. Gee, how about we get society to pay for my gym membership and vitamins and organic food? Too bad I don't have as much political clout as the transgender community. Socialism is exploitation by the politically connected.

The issue is more than just a sex change surgery, which costs several hundred thousand dollars a pop. Most people aren't made aware of this for obvious corrupt reasons, but transgender is an extremely expensive and chronic lifelong condition. You don't just go in for surgery male and come out female. You must see a psychiatrist who bills at $500/hour for therapy years before during and after. You must take hormone pills for your whole life. That's a prescription. You don't just get to go to the store and stock up in bulk. You have to meet with a doctor again and again every few months to have all kinds of testing and have the prescription renewed or modified. It's very intensive monitoring for your whole life. Just seeing a doctor costs several times more than seeing a pop music concert.

The whole thing could be prevented if we spent even a little research on it. We know estrogenic pollution turns frogs transgender. These people are the useful idiots of Big Pharma.

reply

Well. gee, I guess we're concentrating on things like finding a cancer cure to save peoples' lives.
And I'm aware of the monitoring /therapy, etc. one has to go through. Doesn't make it true.

reply

You mean Gender Dysphoria, not "Transgender."

The therapy and possible surgery to become TS addresses the Dysphoria.

The intentional ignorance of Trollhouse strikes again!
