Superman 1-3

Rocky - III

^^^

forgot about this one....although I have a very hard time thinking of this as a trilogy(even by my loose standards) simply because I feel Rocky 1 through 4 feel like a complete story to me....Thinking of Rocky 1-3 as trilogy just feels incomplete to me, But it does fit the criteria

I'm not fond of franchises in general, so there's no way I'd be able to come up with 10, or even close.

Of the ones I've liked at least one or two of, in no particular order,

1. Star Wars
2. Jurassic Park
3. Alien
4. Three Colours (Blue, White, Red)
5. Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight

Thank you for calling them what they really are, my literate friend: franchises, or series. They are not trilogies. Is The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost a trilogy? No. They are a Trinity, three divine manifestations of the same blessed source that combine to complete the manifestation of Him. As such, they are close to being the same as the literary definition of a trilogy, which is “three stories, each complete in itself, that combine to tell an overarching story.” Are the first three episodes of a TV series season a trilogy? Nope. I will fight the corruption of language to my last breath. And I will always treasure my
Catbookss, Dazed and Miss Margo; plus un designated others.
