shareGroundhog Day:
Murray and MacDowell were incredible... i adored their chemistry, their cute romantic relationship and the story in general
Just wonderful stuff!
Forrest Gump:
It doesn't matter the cards you are dealt but rather how you play
I get so much joy from watching this film
Is it contrived? Of course...but i love my Gump and Hanks is a treasure
Conan the Barbarian:
They slaughtered his kin, threw him into bondage and forgot about him like yesterday's trash
BIG mistake
I never give up because of this amazing movie
My favorite!
You're sure right about Conan. Not sure anyone else would call it delightful but you and me. It really is. I get such a euphoric rush when the opening credits are rolling. And at the end, when Thusla Doom is finished, I crash. I am delighted just to think about that movie. Switching to it now.
shareIt is a masterpiece
A lot of R.E. Howard purists thought it was a failure because the natural state of a Cimmerian could not include slavery or bondage of any kind but they are missing the point imo...Conan has his whole world wrecked as a small boy and matures into an avenger, murdering his enemies in fountains of blood and brings down an evil cult, freeing thousands of brainwashed idiots, all to possibly the greatest movie score ever
I have over 2 hundred of the comicbooks in sleeves, have read ALL of the novels and short stories...
This movie did the character justice BY CROM!
One of the most delightful, heartwarming love stories ever told right here!!! I place very few above it. π―ππ―ππ―π
shareConan sure met a HOTTY when he met Valeria during the Temple robbery...Valeria was a real great girlfriend
*****spoilers below****
She rose from the grave to save her man!
