Stonekeeper's Summer Game: I recommend THIS Mystery Movie #44: Returning Champions Come Back for More [StoneKeeper wins with TEQUILA SUNRISE]

It's time to drink away our problems and fire off some shots in the dark! These are the rules by which we operate:

So you guys like to play games? Here is an investigation game that can be time consuming but it's lots of fun. Basically, I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guys are going to guess, I will give a hint that CONNECTS your guess with the movie I have in mind.

Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve a girl being murdered.

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints, the point goes to the OP and he gets to start another one.

Let's get it on!

Hint 1: The Lion in Winter (1968) - The writer, director and stars share several Oscar wins and/or nominations between them.
Hint 2: The Quiet Man (1952) - My movie has got drama and romance.
Hint 3: Sunset Boulevard (1950) - Multiple characters find themselves in romantic entanglements.
Hint 4: Charade (1963) - The director is American.
Hint 5: Born Yesterday (1950) - Runtime under 120 minutes.
Hint 6: Before Sunrise (1995) - Made between the years 1950 and 2000.
Hint 7: Tootsie (1982) - The film itself has been nominated for at least one Oscar.
Hint 8: 9½ Weeks (1986) - Lead male actors have appeared in at least one movie with Sylvester Stallone.
Hint 9: The American President (1995) - Both movies' writers are widely regarded as all-time masters of the craft.
Hint 10: Taxi Driver (1976) - Also falls under the crime genre.
Hint 11: Phantom of the Paradise (1974) - De Palma has directed a film written by this mystery movie's writer.

StoneKeeper is certainly racking up some wins of his own with Tequila Sunrise (1988). Come to think of it, I'm thirsty.

I don't like it when people come up to me after my hints and say, "I really dug your message, man." Or, "I really dug your hint, man. I cried." You know, I like it when people come up to me the next day, or a week later, and they say, "I saw your hint. What happened?"
