What's its secret?
I like both.
There's more actual discussions of movies and TV here, which is good, but the Mods are a bunch of uptight old ladies who get their panties in a twist at the drop of a hat. This place is not as much fun as FB.
Filmboards is a toilet, but it's a wild, fun place, and the Mods don't bother you. There we have true Freedom of Speech.
Here, not so much. But you do have to put up with a lot of vulgarity.

Thanks, Shogie! It's great to be back. I just got back from a short vacation in Florida: Destin and St. Augistine. I had not been to SA since the 50's. It's a really cool and very historical place.

BTW, if you want to see a really cool town in Florida, visit St. Augustine. We spent four nights there and still didn't see everything we wanted to see. Of course we spent some time at the beach also.
Best place to start is at the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. You can buy a ticket on the Red Train and take a one hour orientation trip around town. And you can park free in Ripley's parking lot.
And the beaches are really nice in St. Augustine Beach which is just south of town. That's where we stayed in an ocean front hotel.

PS And be sure to tour the Whetstone Chocolate Factory. It was fascinating, and the chocolate is to die for!!
