Now whether she's kept up that trend of frequent testing since retirement I don't know, but I would think being in that business would make you hyper aware of the issue and cognizant of your sexual health status.

Skepticism is great and everything, but the facts are that people over the age of 45 have been increasingly contracting stds over the last several years. So you and your wife probably have an asymptomatic STI and just keep passing crud back and forth. You can slut shame a young woman all you want, but she should really be worried about catching something from you. And no, I won't have her, I'm gay.
shareIf you are in a long term monogamous relationship, the chance of getting a STI is almost nil. There is an increase in STIs among older people because they are having multiple partners later in life.

There is ample data showing that STDs are much more prevalent among people in the porn industry. The line that they are less likely to have STDs is pure marketing propaganda.
