Do you consider the U.S. and Russia enemies?
I'm not sure what to say except that they are "Frenemies", enemies that are also like an allies in some way or another. For the most part I'll say "no", though.

Hell Yeah! Never trust those Ruskie bastards!

No
shareThere are essentially 3 nations vying for global dominance. USA, China and Russia. After that the other strong nations prefer status quo. Europe seems to side with USA whenever there is a team to choose.
I think that China will eventually flex its military might. It may either wait for the economic collapse of America, or a war between America and Russia. These things are probably planned for the end of this century. I don't think anyone wants to drastically rock the boat right now. China is still growing and wants the world to keep buying. Russia wants to take back its former territories but knows that starting World War III would probably wipe them out. Whatever could be won from war would be drastically overshadowed by what one would lose.
They say that nuclear weapons have more or less, kept the peace between the superpowers for the past 60 years. It's true. But appeasements will happen because America isn't going to go to world war III if Russia takes back a former state. Then again, its seen as a mistake for letting Hitler do it with Austria.
It's a tense game.
But yes, Russia is an enemy. It could potentially drag the world into war.
Yeah, what you typed makes sense and I agree. Thanks for the insight!
