Competition for the pettiest "White People Problem"

My entry:
When I go to see a 3D movie, and the light from the screen hits my pale skin, which I can see reflected off the inside of the glasses. So distracting for the first few minutes.

My ebony brothers and sisters will never know this struggle! Maybe a little... maybe.

I know this is a "competition," but everyone is a winner. Please pick up your Participation Trophy after posting your entry.

Experiencing sand scrape on your feet every time going to the beach due to really sensitive skin, ugh.

Do they allow sunglasses (shades) at your movie theater?

I get two trophies! One for me and one for my twin. (^ ^)

reply

Good entry! You win too!

But sunglasses would be redundant, as I'm already wearing the 3D glasses. I see the same reflection inside my sunglasses when the light outside is hitting my face.

You need to apply warpaint beforehand.

I've considered it! Like what football players wear.

reply

I should have realized that, "D'oh!"

Darn, you're already wearing some kind of filter. The only thing I can recommend is to somehow have an additional one like Ben Franklin's pair in 'National Treasure.' Nic Cage would know.

Or just wear these 3D glasses every time: http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/resources/review/dark+of+the+moon/+optimus+prime+3d+glasses+mask/4084

Talk about "More than meets the eye."

Picking on white people. Gee, that's new and different.

Humor often picks on someone, but it's still humor.

reply

Humor always picks on someone, but I am sick and tired of being picked on, especially for stuff I did not do.

If you didn't do something specified, then that something doensnt apply to you... but that's unrelated to this topic.

You could even turn this around with an entry like "Having to choose from all these job offers," but that may be in bad taste ;)

reply

I'm still sick and tired of it, Froggy. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Well as for this topic, I assure you I am mocking the very concept of the phrase "White People Problems" just as much as I am lampooning my own minimal problems.

It's double duty.

reply

No sir, I don't like it.

Actually, " Buck up, buttercup " should come into play here.

What goes around, comes around.

Threads like this.

Sorry. Resistance was futile 😜

reply

No apologies needed, it's a good entry!

In fact you reminded me of a second entry I considered last night: #2 -- When I make a silly thread about a petty white person problem, and others chime in with potential solutions to the problem when all I really want is pity and consolation, LOL!

It's all in good fun.

I heard a couple on a trolly in Deadwood SD talking about how they were going to stick to only 6 horses but they couldn't help themselves and now they have 9, and the food is becoming a problem. Also they wanted to retire at 50 but had to wait until they were 55. What a travesty!
