Especially the ones hardly ever mentioned.. "A Walk in the Spring Rain" would be the perfect example. Only 509 votes on IMDB - and it's got Ingrid Bergman AND Anthony Quinn AND it's a great movie.. "Rachel Rachel" is another good one, but I'm sure many have seen it.

For some reason I've instantly remembered 'Itinéraire d'un enfant gâté' (1988), Belmondo was 55 in that.

I’m going to nominate the recent film Lucky, staring the late Harry Dean Stanton. Also, Lynch’s great The Straight Story, which also features Stanton.

There is the 1964 film, 'The Night Walker', presenting Robert Taylor and starring actress in the lead role, Barbara Stanwyck, her final big screen appearance. The subject matter is as silvery gray as the hair on her head, a fantastically delightful combination of ambiguity and woe tempered by her grace.
