Rate a Director's filmography: Official Weekly Thread #1

Here's how it will go. Every week, around Friday, I will post a new director to rate.

We had:

-Darren Aronofsky
-Ridley Scott
-Danny Boyle

And we will continue with my man TERRY GILLIAM.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) 6/10
Time Bandits (1981) 8/10
Brazil (1985) 8-8.5/10
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) 6.5/10
The Fisher King (1991) 7.5/10
12 Monkeys (1995) 8/10
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) 10/10
The Brothers Grimm (2005) 7/10
Tideland (2005) 6.5-7/10
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) 6/10
The Zero Theorem (2013) 8/10

So the guy did 5 movies I rate 8 or higher and his lower rating for me is a 6. Which makes him one of my fav of them all.

Now your turn amigos.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) 8/10
Time Bandits (1981) 6/10 (i have to put an asterisk on this rating, because i haven't seen this since i was a teen. i remember parts being chaotically fun, but i also distinctly recall being left confused & a bit unsatisfied. i'm sure it would play better now)
Brazil (1985) 6/10
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) 5/10
The Fisher King (1991) 7/10
12 Monkeys (1995) 9.5/10 the movie he'd been building towards, imo. i think it gets a bit undervalued because it's a relatively big-budget movie with a big star, but i think it's a total delight. weird & chaotic, but in a satisfying way. brazil left me feeling claustrophobic - every time i've watched it, i found it unpleasant, just couldn't wait for it to end so i could get out of that world, but i can't get enough of this one. this feels like the successful dystopian story the earlier film was trying for.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) 8.5/10

and here, i have to tap out. i haven't seen any of these movies yet. zero theorem is streaming on shudder right now, and i've considered giving it a try, but have been put off by its luke warm reviews. quite a few people on this thread seem to dig it, so i might give it a go today or tomorrow. if i do, i'll edit in my rating.

The Brothers Grimm (2005)
Tideland (2005)
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009)
The Zero Theorem (2013)

I'll list the ones I have seen.
Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas 8/10
12 Monkeys 8/10
The Fisher King 7/10
Time Bandits 6/10

Will you ever consider "my man", Alfred Hitchcock?
How about the films of Billy Wilder or George Cukor . Those are just a few off the top of my head.
How about Elia Kazan????

Personally I haven’t seen many or any from these directors but it does not mean I can’t use them.

But don’t worry I have many popular directors coming up that you will know
