Star Wars fans: We need to represent our fandom better (Don't read if you're a hater)

As most of you know, Kelly Marie Tran, who plays Rose in The Last Jedi deleted her social media after hateful, racist, sexist, you name it, comments. We need to show miss Tran that this is NOT who we are. The small minority of crybabies and haters is not who we are or represent. We start a campaign called #forceforkelly, where we leave a message of love and appreciation for her and we apologize on the haters' behalf. Sound good?

Regardless of your opinion on the new films, wishing death on someone is never okay. Hateful comments towards an actor/actress because you don't like a character they played is never okay. Wishing someone out of a job because you don't like how they run things (Kathleen Kennedy) is never okay.

Screw it, bring in Kevin Feige. He at least understands fans, and his Marvel contract expires next year (if it's not renewed of course).

This is the piece of Sh#t who started this. To paraphrase Luke "It's time for the hate to end". Report the page until it gets Order 66'd. (Or I guess Order 404'd.) Hate of ANY kind towards someone is NEVER ok.

Well, if you wish for them to get a job they are better suited for, yes. But to wish for them to be completely unemployed and on the streets is not. Unemployment can be hard.

I don't know what was said to Ms. Kennedy, I just wanted to say that your particular statement in the original post is rather broad. I still agree with the overall stance of your post though.

On her birthday wish post the 'fans' said "Your gift should be a retirement package." "A gift to us fans would be yo getting fired" and other horrible stuff like that.

Star Wars fans are the worst fans. I "like" Star Wars. The original was mediocre, I even felt that way as a kid in the 70's. The 2 sequels were fun action movies. The Prequels were better in terms of storytelling and acting but for whatever reason "fans" get all rabid and angry about them. The new movies coming out are excellent and of course once again "fans" are angry.

There are heroes on both sides.
Evil is everywhere.

The opening crawl for TROTS is my favorite! More relevant than ever! And...much like a discarded line from every star wars flick until the last jedi...I've a bad feeling about this😠

I do however disagree with the lion share of your views. Fans are NOT to blame...anymore than an actor is!!! What happened to miss tran is unfortunate...but likewise is the fact that social media is toxic and not for everyone...myself included👍 it is a realm uneasily travelled by those with thin skin or common sense😉 a place where rotten apples can flourish...and do.
But let's not dilute the facts...star wars is on a downward spiral...and lucas film is to BLAME!!!

And yes...in a capitalistic driven economy...those who hold the power are the ones that relinquish it upon failure...and with SOLO...Star wars has failed! Time for a changing of the guard👍 but not to worry for Mrs kennedy...at an estimated worth of over $150 million...she's not to live in shanty town😉 also...as Disney is a publicly traded company...you might want to familiarize yourself with fiduciary responsibility and the laws that govern its applicability where corporations and their shareholders are concerned. You will find that it is ILLEGAL for an IPO to do anything counter productive to the value of a share holder stock...and before you make a comment...yes I own over one thousand shares of Disney! And as a share holder I can tell you I have watched the stock climb from $45 to about $120...and now dip to under $100...and this is going to require answers to questions...and heads will need to roll! Not mean spirits...just good business!

Now I have many problems with star wars LITE! None of which revolve around many of the catchy phrases many like to level at me...but I took the time to express it with a fun irreverent rap diss...have a watch!!!

It will focus on fandom...good bad ugly and just easily duped...and what WE all need to fix this mess! One thing I know for sure...WE will do fuckall if we can not band together...first move would be to NOT level blame at fans...no matter what side you fall on in fandom😉
