Character actors are what makes Hollywood go round.
We've had hundreds of greats over the years.

One of mine is Agnes Moorehead.

Only knew her from Bewitched when I was younger.
Over time I've seen many of her films.
She is an incredible actress. Nominated 4 times for an Oscar but never won.
That is a shame.

Da Dook was a great character actor. For the Brits there would be John Thaw and Charles Dance.

He was charming and funny.

travers showed up in a lot of 1940s movies.

He stopped acting around 1950 but didn't die until the 60's,

He's in some of my favorite films.

He was even in High Sierra with Bogart.
Played the girls father.

Mary Wickes. She had one long career in countless movies and TV shows. Even if you don't know the name, you know the face.

Her and Thelma Ritter are ones I adore.

Yes, Thelma Ritter. She was always the best person in the movie (A Letter to Three Wives, Rear Window).
